Bolt patterns are the holes in a wheel where the lug nut or lug bolt goes through. They come in 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 for cars and light trucks. Larger vehicles are 10 and 12 holes. They are two ways to measure bolt patterns, if it is an odd number bolt pattern it is measured from the center of one hole then skipping a hole to the end of the next hole. If it's an even bolt pattern you measure from the center of one hole skipping a hole to the center of the next hole (See Photo)
